I am a crafter and picture framer and can’t remember a time when I didn’t enjoy making things. My discovery of Chalk Paint a few years ago, was the catalyst that I needed to help my dream of an arts/crafts business become a reality. We first opened our doors in 2015 and it was in the autumn of that year that, as an independent shop, we were selected to become a stockist of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. We sell both painted and up-cycled furniture and offer a service to paint customer’s own furniture too. Refurbishing items at the back of the shop, has brought a little bit of theatre and artisan-ship to the place and often attracts interest and questions. We pride ourselves in providing a wide selection of well-chosen home accessories, art and handcrafted items, many of which have been made by local artisans. It is great fun being able to provide inspiration to others in creating a different look for their home. The shop could be described as vintage with a contemporary twist or maybe it is contemporary with a vintage twist, but hopefully you will be able to find that different something you have always been looking for!
